Great views, friendly server and a high standard for a wide variety of food. Chose this spot based on location and the ability to cater to various hopes for our meal (vegetarian, seafood and Mexican). Well covered on the Schooners menu and none of the dishes disappointed. Knocking off one star for the approach at the hostess stand. The cold greeting was nearly enough to go elsewhere, but we added our name to a list for a 45-50 min wait. We took a 10 min walk to explore and missed their calls when the table was ready. We called immediately when we saw as we started walking back. I was informed our name was removed but could be put back on -- at the bottom -- which was a 45 min wait. Upon further inquiry was offered a table inside and agreed. When we returned they didn't say anything but sat us outside, where there were multiple tables open for a party our size... Overall we had a great time there but the front of house needs improving to match what you can experience here.

Schooners is right in the hotel first floor. We found it accidentally and there's always a long wait but totally worth it. Catching up with the last breeze of summer occean, we enjoyed our afternoon here with the great view, wonderful drink, and delicious foods. its nice to hang out with live music as well and it just made it so perfect

The food was delicious and well-cooked. The service was impeccable and we were able to eat outside on the balcony that have the ocean! They had space heaters that made eating outside comfortable and the atmosphere was great.
